• 1. Make the printer “Ready” by pressing the “Back” icon several times

• 2. Press “OK” button and enter the “Main Menu” 

• 3. Press “OK” button one more time to enter the “Setup” menu

Disable HP Printer Firmware Updates For Monochrome Laser Printers Without Touch Screen

• 1. Press the “Back” icon to get the printer “Ready”

• 2. To access the "Main Menu," click the "OK" button

• 3. To access the "Setup", click the "OK" button once more

• 4. Repeatedly click the "Right" arrow to find "Printer Maintenance" →Click “OK” button

• 5. To find "Update Firmware," repeatedly click the "Right" arrow→Click “OK” button twice

• 6. Press the "Right" arrow to find “Mange Update”→Press “OK” button

• 7. Click “OK” button again to enter “Allow Updates”

• 8. Press the "Right" arrow to find “No”→Press “OK” button twice to confirm the settings
