How to replace Brother TN-227 toner?
Replacing Brother TN-227 toner cartridges is an easy process. Please follow the below steps or watch our video to complete the process in few minutes.
Open the printer’s top cover.
Take out the used TN-233 or TN-227 toner cartridge with drum unit.
Press the green lever of the drum unit to remove the used toner cartridge.
Unpack a new toner cartridge and shake it horizontally several times.
Remove the protective cover of the new toner cartridge.
Combine the new toner cartridge with drum unit.
Slide the green tab of the drum unit left and right to clean the corona wire.
Install the new toner cartridge with drum unit back into your printer.
Close the printer cover and test a print.

Worked great in my HL-L3210CW
I recently picked up a free HL-L3210CW that was showing a No Toner error. I tried the toner reset menu but no luck. However, as soon as I replaced the bad toner cartridge with one from this set, the printer worked great, so I can definitely recommend this toner. If you are running into toner error messages, definitely make sure you've installed the Brother programs, specifically the Status Monitor - that will let you see which color(s) are having errors so you don't needlessly replace good toner cartridges. In my case my old cyan toner had a bad chip connection that was resolved by wiggling and adjusting the chip position on the toner to get it to connect consistently, and the magenta toner chip had actually just gone bad, so I only needed to use the magenta toner from this set and I can keep the other colors wrapper for later!
