I don't use my printer that often, but when the toner finally ran out after several years, I dreaded buying a replacement because I figured it would cost almost as much as the printer did initially. But I tried this replacement and so far am pleasantly surprised. It was well-packaged and had clear instructions; you only replace a small part of that big thing that you normally pull out to clear paper jams. The couple dozen pages I've printed since have been dark and crisp. Time will tell just how long it will last, but for my needs it's been an economical and, so far, perfectly fine replacement.
